WFME announced on March 7th, 2023 that the Sri Lanka Medical Council (SLMC) has been awarded Recognition Status for the full term of 10 years.
This brings to 34 the number of agencies now recognized by WFME, representing at least 59 territories. (Some accrediting authorities represent several territories). For a full list of authorities/countries, see this link.
