On April 5th 2023, WFME announced that the Malaysian Medical Council (MMC) and Philippine Accrediting Association for Schools, Colleges and Universities (PAASCU) had each been recognised for a full term of 10 years.
This brings to 36 the number of agencies now recognized by WFME, representing at least 59 territories. (Some accrediting authorities represent several territories). For a full list of authorities/countries, see this link
